Just now I went to Bedok NTUC with my mother, and 2 incidents took place that really pissed me off.

1) Chopping of seats with 1/3 filled coffee.

We decided to have our early lunch at the hawker centre next to Bedok Bus Interchange and found an empty table with ONE cup of 1/3 filled coffee, so obviously you will think that whoever drank that has left already without finishing up the entire coffee. So I sat down while my mother went to buy the food. Then after about 2 minutes, suddenly 3 idiots (probably 3 uncles who are 50+ of age came seated around me at the same table, and one of them told me that the coffee belongs to him and this table belonged to them.

WTF RIGHT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!! I thought Singaporeans only "chopped" seats with tissue paper (One of the many unglam habits of Singaporeans). WHO ON EARTH ALSO CHOP SEAT WITH A 1/3 FILLED CUP OF COFFEE. Anyway, he ended off with a short and rude "Sorry arz", then I was so pissed off that I just quickly went to find another table.

2) Couples on the escalator holding hands and blocking the patheway.

At one of the escalators at Bedok MRT Station, there were 2 idiots holding hands standing side-by-side (the bitch was standing on the left, while the bastard was on the right blocking the pathway). So my mother was standing behind this woman, and I was standing behind my mother. Then while we were somewhere at the middle of the escalator, there was one man , probably in a rush, walking quickly up the escalator until he was standing next to my mother, cause that bastard was blocking his way.

Then I think the bitch could feel/hear that someone wanted to cross, so she turned behind and looked at the man, and then whisper something to his bastard partner. Then the bastard turned back to look at the man behind him, then he just returned his head to the front and ACTED AS IF NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. Both that bitch and bastard were just rooted at their exact position without giving way to the man behind. There were empty space in front of the couple, so that bastard could have stepped forward to be in front of that bitch to give way. Hence, the man has to wait until the end of the escalator before he could make a move, and those 2 farkers were walking as if there are the King and Queen of Bedok MRT Station. Farked up.

Probably I'm too used to the way Japanese behave in public places. (i.e. even during rush hour when train stations are jam-packed with people, 99.9999% of the Japanese will still keep to the left so that those who want to walk can proceed on the right side)

I guess I need to change my mindset and expectations of Singaporeans. How on earth can I expect Singaporeans to be at least 10% as gracious/civillised/courteous as Japanese. These behavious really give a "Uniquely Singapore" image. Good or bad, I don't know. But one thing for sure, I can't stand these unglam behavious of Singaporeans.

I really cant wait for sch to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, it's obvious that I really hate my school. Everthing abt "Na-Beh School" sucks can? I just want to get out of this blardy place asap.

Although I still have 2 semesters to go, but it feels like I still have a few more years to go.

Argz, that feeling sucks. I really dont know what the hell have I been learning for the past 3 semesters. With that, I come to the conclusion that I'm wasting 2.5 years of my life learning rubbish (IMO) and I really dont know why am I doing all these. Other than to get this thing called a "degree certificate", I really can't find any good reason why I should be in school. Haiz, so be it, since it's smth that everyone goes thru.

But I just dont understand why ppl always say "uni is the most memorable days of ur life. Treasure it, blah blah". I can't see the rational behind those comments.

And I'll probably be repeating these whining entries till the day I graduate.

So holiday is all about drama, drama and more drama. My review of the following korean/japanese dramas:

1) East of Eden - I think this drama win alot of awards in Korea - definitely worth watching! I think the plot is very similar to Singapore's... erm..u know tt drama that got zoe tay and fann wong kana switched during birth or smth. Yalorz, but obviously the korean 1 is more exciting!!

2) Temptation of Wide - Currently showing in Channel U. Not bad I guess, just that it's too looong (129 episodes).

3) Liar Game 2 - Currently it's broadcasting in Japan, so it's a very new drama, and only showing until episode 5. But still, having watched "Liar Game 1" before, I think it's really a must watch (only 11 episodes), about how every "player" is given a large sum of money and they are forced to play this swindle game by trying to get the money from the opponents. While watching it, I realised that I'll probably get tricked 1000000000 times cuz the ppl r juz so cunning! (or shld I say I'm stupid enough to fall for all their tricks). So if you are looking for some drama that involve certain level of intelligence (smth like kindaichi perhaps), then this drama is not to be missed!

4) The Quiz Show 2 - Wah kaoz... Abit dumb. Not worth watching. But I love the theme song by Arashi: Ashita no Kioku

5) I know 20th Century Boys (part 2) is not a drama but movie, but still, the movie is really SHINGZ leh. I was pretty satisfied when I watch the part 1. And now that the part 3 is currently showing in S'pore cinemas, I guess the response wont be tt good as well.

Japan faces tough choice, says MM

JAPAN, facing economic and social problems partly due to its ageing population, could take a leaf out of Singapore's book, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew said yesterday.

It could study how Singapore turned to foreign workers to boost its economy, he said.

So when Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew was asked yesterday what Japan should do about it, he referred to Singapore's solution: be more open to immigration.

I felt kinda WEIRD and worried when I read these articles regarding MM Lee's proposal on Japan's ageing population. So let's take a look at Singapore's demographics and Japan's demographics.

Singapore/Statsics:
So as of Jun 2009, our population is 4.99 million, out of which 25% is non-residents and the remaining 75% residents (citizen + PR). So out of this 75% residents, we have 64% citizens and the remaning 11% PRs.

Japan:
As of March 2009, Japan's population is 127 million, of which 98.6% is native Japanese (which obviously mean they are citizens right?). So the remaining 1.4% consist of 0.6 million Koreans, 0.5 million Chinese (surprisingly, I always think that there are far more Chinese in Japan), and the remanings are other races.

So seriously, while I was reading the suggestions given by MM Lee, the following horrible images come to my mind:

1) Blangahs. You see a horde of blangahs seated around Shibuya(Tokyo) train station or perhaps below Tokyo Tower, and they can be there for hours eating peanuts or drinking beer.

2) Tiongs. Well, at least this isn't that obvious because they look the same, unless they start talking. But then again, from the way they dress, I guess it's kinda OBVIOUS that they are different from the relatively trendy Tokyoites.

3) Domestic maids. Well, instead of hanging around Orchard tower, maybe you see them in big groups at Roppongi or Shinjuku on a typical Sunday. which is their off-day. (And yes, it's very rare in Japan society to employ foreign domestic maids)

Seriously, one reason that makes Japan unique in my opinion, or probably like some other countries such as Korea, France or Germany is their high ethinically and linguistically homogenous society. I always prefer to live in a city(country) where everyone looks the the same, speaks one language, have their own traditions (i.e costumes, history) and stuff like that.

Of course, I won't deny that people in such homogenous countries admire people living in multi-racial countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia etc, and I do respect their own decisions.

But in Japan's case, the point that I wish to drive is that actively "importing" cheap labours to support the economy and perhaps reduce the burden of ageing population is definitely not the way to go. Can you imagine 10 years down the road, Japan has 80% native Japanese only and the remaining 20% are some other people. That will make the country looks really WEIRD!!

By saying all these, I'm not saying Japan should not open up to foreign labour. On a personal note, I hope to go there as well, and the country will not close its doors on me. After reading many articles on the Internet, there is no doubt that the country is slowly opening up to foreigners who want to migrate to Japan, but a mass inflow of foreigners is definitely a no-go for Japan, in my humble opinion. And I seriously dont want that to happen when I live there next time. If not, then I guess I will be indifferent towards living in S'pore or Japan, or places like Australia.

O YES! Exams have unoffiicially ended. Cuz I've finished all my core papers, but still left with one stupid science elective that I've S/U (thankfully). So now I can slack abit...

Since young I always believe that it's very important to get enough sleep before any exam, and I mean whether u can fall alseep is another story arz. So I always make it a point to sleep before exam...

And ystd I broke my taboo by not sleeping at all after my AA201 exam ystd all the way until today, although I have a tax paper this morning. But surprisingly, although it's very taxing to study taxation, I didn't feel tired this morning while doing tax.... Haiz, tax sucks. I'm glad all is over.

This semester is really SHIT, although everything by now is sunk cost (irrelevant cost) and I have "Cr. Provision for bad result". Okie, sounds digusting, but I realised by now that I'm starting to hate accounting more and more.... Shingzzz.

I shall study for my JLPT exam next Sunday!!! And not skip it like last yr... Haiz. tired.

I seriously need to find Buddha and hug his legs. Like BOTH legs if possible....

My exams are on 19, 20, 24, 25 and 26 Nov... And tt's like so FARKING CRAMPED INTO ONE WEEK!?!?!?!?!?!?

I still have 3 presentations next week. @#$U*I@#$%^&*. And worse, I haven touched my AA201 syllabus for like half a semester. wtf?

Damn, I'm aiming to get GPA 3.5 in the best case scenario.

I can't believe such a naive stupid idiotic BAKA exists in this world.

Seriously, I don't know what's farking wrong with this school.

1) Last year during first day of school in year1, everyone got their matric card except me. FINE!? That means I have farking difficulty in buying my laptop then. And I only got my matric card like one month after school has started.

2) In sem2, the farking school screwed my time-table by throwing me in some RANDOM class with some RANDOM people whom I have never see b4 in my whole life. FINE!? Then I wasted alot of time during the add-drop period to get a more decent time-table, although I'm still a floater (loner) where I dont even know alot ppl. Whatever.

3) In this sem, after our CCA election, those in main comm got the "privilege" to apply for hall together as one cca (for those who dont have hall n wan stay hall arz). Anyway, so we applied as one CCA, AND SERIOUSLY, now it's already mid-Oct, I realised that EVERYONE in my CCA already got their hall a few weeks ago (late sep) EXCEPT ME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

LIKE WTF!?!?!?!?!

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH THIS FARKING SCHOOL!!?!?!?!? Fark them lar!!! I seriously think the school has some FARKING PROBLEM WITH ME!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Screw this sch! I really hope the RANKING can drop to rock bottom and this stupid sch can lose all the accreditations or high quality certification for all I care.

I'm seriously NOT proud to be a student of this institution.

I really really really really really really really really HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE school. Screw all the projects that are due soon.

I really hate what I'm studying. I hate projects. School suckssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Seriously, how disgusting can this week be:

Tues - AB214 presentation on negotiation (10%)
Wed - Tax quiz (10%)
Thurs - AA202 excel test (10%) + written quiz (10%)
Fri - Quiz for my elective (20%)

And I have screwed up badly for my excel test. GG.

It is already the end of WEEK 9, and then my AA201 and AA202 group has decided to START on our projects. Argz, I really think I'm gonna die horribly this semester. I NEED 48 HOURS A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I just wish to burn down the whole Student Admin Office because I believe there's no difference in their existence there.

I feel like quitting school.

Okay, I think 90% of the "shit" is over, and perhaps what's left is the AGM and orientation that is next week... So I hope to get my hall asap so that I wont be dragging myself out of bed for 830am lessons from Mon to Fri. REALLY DEMN SIANZ TO WAKE UP SO EARLY!!

On a side note, I have applied for GIP Prelude to China for 2 weeks this coming Dec. I really hope can get in lar, but with my relatively cui GPA and the fact that there's so limited vacancy, I doubt I can get in.. Sianz..

Shall finish my undone tut/readings for this week!!!!

It's only week 2 and I'm trying my best not to procratinate my work, despite the fact that I'm taking 21AUs this sem, and I have all the CCA fair/welcome tea/recruitment interview that will all be happening in the 1st 3 weeks of sch. So I'm just hoping that next week can faster end, and then I'll be able to "slack" for the next one year. Okay lar, I know this shouldn't be coming out from my mouth, especially since I'm in the main comm... But seriously, having 5 days of 8.30am lesson from Mon to Fri, and then after lessons still must attend to CCA stuff is kinda TIRING. Amazingly I'm still able to finish whatever tut/readings that are required thus far, but I guess next week will be really the "hell week".

Firstly, there will be recruitment interview next Mon and Tues from 630pm to around 11pm, which translates to the fact that I wont be able to go home and hence, I'll be squatting in my friend's hall for these 2 nights. And on Wed itself, there's some kind of election/rally thing, which is like compulsory for all the big CCAs. Haiz, what a hassel. And NTU will only be giving us our hall after our election, which means that by the time we get our hall, it will be around week 4 or 5 liaoz (September). Luckily this time round, the projects are not as disgusting as yr 1projects (I think so lar) and also all the quiz/test will be after recess week only.

So yes, I shall give all my attention and time for my CCA during these 3 weeks!!

So yesterday I went night cycling with 3 of my uni classmates, and it was an event that went horribly wrong..for me I guess.

Time was 9.00am. So I cycled from home to East Coast to meet them, cuz they rented the bicycles at ECP for the whole night. Anyway, we wanted to go Changi Village, BUT NO ONE KNOWS THE WAY THERE!?!?! Okay, then I suggest a very BAD IDEA of cycling back to Kembangan MRT station then follow the bus no.2 route!?!?!!? We really did that, so we cycled along the MRT tracks from Kembangan to Tanah Merah, and then reached a place somewhere further up EXPO, then we realised we are STUCK. Expressway is ahead and there's no cycling track for us.

So no choice, we cycled southwards back to East Coast Park, and from there we used the Coastal Park Connector that allowed us to cycle past Changi Airport and reach Changi Village. Seriously, when I reached Changi Village, I nearly want to die already...So were my other friends. I refused to eat anything except got myself a sugar cane drink, although my other friends ordered Nasi Lemak to eat. By the time we left Changi Village, it was 1.30am.

And here comes the horrible part... Initially we wanted to go the other route, which is the Loyang, PR, Tamp, Bedok connectors to reach back ECP. But slightly less than 10min after we left Changi Village, my bike's chain came off. Fine, I admit I donno how to do it, so my friends were very helpful in getting their hands dirty to help me settle the bike problem. But by then, the pedals were abit loose and it was really kinda unstable to continue cycling. Every few minutes, the chain will keep coming off. Okay, I was extremely sianz and guilty to waste my friends' time. The last straw was at Loyang Valley.

And I said "Okay, I really think I'm going to push this bike all the way back home. I suggest you all just cycled back 1st to ECP. It's no joke pushing a bike from Loyang to Kembangan" And really, my friends said they would just push their bikes along with me to go back Kembangan. I was kinda guilty at that point, but wellz, they started saying things like "Aiyaz, nvm lar, our butts are also very painful after sitting on the bike seat for so long. I think push the bikes also good idea, at least more comfortable." Of cuz they were saying all these to comfort me, WHO ON EARTH WILL WANT TO WALK FROM LOYANG TO KEMBANGAN WHEN THEY HAVE BIKES WITH THEM!?

As I'm the only person living in the East (One lives in Jurong, one Yishun, another in Seng Kang), I led them all the way from Loyang to TPJC. And while we were outside TPJC pushing our bikes, we heard a loud "pop". Wtf, my front wheel punctured (AND I'M PUSHING IT LAR, NOT EVEN SITTING ON IT). Excellent, seems like I'm destined to push my bike back home.

All along I know that it's just a straight road down from Loyang Valley to Tamp MRT station, so it was kinda easy to navigate around. From Tamp MRT station, we followed the MRT track and halfway between Tamp and Simei MRT station, we crossed an overhead bridge and soon we reached Simei MRT station. From there we followed the Simei connector that leads us to Simei ITE/EXPO there (Yes, we cycled there initially!!) and continued pushing our bikes to Tanah Merah. From there it was just following the MRT tracks all the way back to Kembangan.

But seriously, I guess pushing our bikes were so much better than riding (Okay, I'm not trying to give an excuse for myself). Because initially, we were all cycling rather fast, until we are all tired out and didn't have the energy to talk to each other. But from the time we started pushing all bikes back home, we basically talked about anything under the sun! Okay, at least I got to know my friends abit better...

We reached Kembangan MRT station at 515am, and then rested awhile until around 615am. So the 3 of them cycled back to ECP and I pushed my bike back home.
And morale of the story is: Cheap bikes are only MEANT for short distance trips, e.g cycling to student's house to give tuition. Not for LONG trips like going to Pasir Ris from Kembangan.

I think I'm kinda lazy to blog about all the places I have been to, but I'll just blog about one place - 靖国神社 (Yasukuni Jinja)

On the second day I was in Japan, I went there to pay a visit. Wellz, that place is kinda large, and yes, the shrine by itself has nothing much. There's a place where you throw the coins, clap ur hands and pray (Japanese style of praying, if you ever watch Japanese shows). So I just follow suit and try my best to blend in with the others who were there.

Anyway, my main purpose was to visit the Japanese War Museum that was inside Yasukuni Shrine. Wellz, I guess not many tourists were there (due to sensitive issues), but I do see a few ang-moh who were there as if they were on some study trip, scribbling notes here n there.

The War museum was rather informative as it showcased not only abut WW2, as well as some of the early warring era within Japan a few centuries ago, and proceed on to sino-jap war, russia-jap war..then WW2..blah blah. But during that 1.5 hrs while I was walking inside the museum (there's alot of things there!), I felt that the Japanese kinda gave "excuses" for going War. Their main "reason" is that there is a lack of natural resources, and so the only way to survive is to conquer new land. Well, perhaps it's true to centain extent, but that doesn't give Japan the right to invade foreign land.

Secondly, I didn't really see any form of "apology" or "remorse" on the part of Japan to the victim countries that they have invaded. They are only concern that to continue this war will bring more pain to their own Japanese people, and so they decided to surrender. Wellz, WW2 has ended almost 60 years ago, and I think I don't have the right to give any critical comments. But I believe non-Japanese will have a more ACCURATE idea of what this Pacific War is about.

And of cuz, one part of the museum showcased how they conquered Malaya/S'pore. The last part of the museum showed all the black and white photos of the Japanese ppl (Soldiers/civillians/males/females) who were enshrined in Yasukuni Shrine. The photos were like "printed" on tiles, and have a glossy effect. Omg, it's kinda EERIE can!?!? There's like thousands of such black and white "photo tiles" of the people that are sticked to the walls. As I was looking around, I think majority of the people in the photos were very young, probably in their late 10s to late 20s. (Actually their age were stated as well, and how they die, where they die etc etc) Some were kamikaze pilots who were in their early 20s, or university/high school gals who helped out in the war, and obviously most of them were military soldiers in their uniform, and all were very young lar! Which means that if there were still alive, they would probably be 80++ of age now.

Conclusion: Wellz, I think it serves as a refresher to my history knowledge? And when I went back to hostel and told some of the Japanese that I went to Yasukuni shrine, they were kinda shocked as well, because they themselves also try to avoid such "sensitive place".

Just came back from my Tokyo trip a few days ago. Unlike the previous 4 times in which I went with guided tours (and only during winter), this is my first free & easy trip there, and also during a different season - summer.

No doubt the weather was quite hot, but I think is comparable to Singapore. And most importantly, I felt I have more interaction with the culture and people there, getting to learn many new things which I will never get to do in a guided tour. In the past, the tour guide only bring us to selective tourist attraction places and we don't get to mingle around with the Japanese. But this time round, I used the public transport extensively and the fact that I live in a rather poor district of Tokyo makes me see Japan in a different light. In the past, they only bring us to Ginza to see all the expensive things, but this time round, I went to rather cheap shopping districts (e.g Ame-yoko at Ueno) and some things can be even cheaper than in S'pore!

Getting used to the Tokyo subway system can be quite challenging, but luckily I did my "hw" b4 I went there, so it was rather easy and comfortable for me. And the fact that I bought a concession ticket (700 yen = S$10.50) each day makes travelling more easier. Firstly, I dont really go for shopping, so it's obvious that I can travel to many places within one day, which is definitely more cost-saving for me. Secondly, if I dont buy concession ticket, I will need to plan my route carefully. Taking the wrong train and changing lines unnecessarily will only mean more charges. Within one station, there can be quite a few train operators, and they dont tell u that! So if you are not careful, you may end up paying much more than what you initially think you are paying for. In short, my advice is to JUST BUY a concession ticket, unless you are confident you will only stick to ONE place each day.

And unlike during a guided tour when all my meals are covered for, this time round I need to settle my own meals. Of course. if you are going to places like Macdonald's where you can just POINT at the picture and order without speaking a single Japanese, that's okay. But if it's like going to a typical traditional Japanese restaurant to order, with no pictures to rely on, it can be quite tough for some ppl. If you are inside a sushi shop, most of the time you can find the food you want on the conveyor belt. But for me where some of the sushi I like is not available (e.g Kani sarada, ebi sarada, shifudo sarada), I have to ask the sushi chef standing in the middle to prepare for me. Of cuz there's no extra charge or what, each typical plate of sushi cost 130yen (S$1.95) in most sushi shops in Tokyo, so it's still not that bad... Unless you order some red plate or what which is more expensive. Bottom line is if you cant speak Japanese, you may have to settle for whatever that's available on the conveyor belt.

The same applies to ramen shop or tempura shops, which can be quite challenging to order when the menu is all Japanese without any pictures. But I think basic understanding of hiragana and katakana should be fine.
So if you dont have much trouble with ordering food or transport, then I guess all other things shld be fine!

The fact that I live in some cheapo hostel means that I got to see many tourists from all over the world as well. I think caucasians made up 70% of the ppl in my hostel? And yaz, my first time interacting with so many ang-mohs, and it can be AMAZING to hear some of the words coming out of their mouth, e.g "Singapore is bigger than a SMALL country like South Korea"....

And yes, I don't want to go Japan during summer again! But they only sell summer clothings (which is what I need) during summer means that I wont be able to buy much clothings during other seasons. Going during Spring and Autumn is definitely OUT OF THE QUESTION becuz there will be school terms and usually the one week sch holiday is so pathetic that I'll be probably busy with sch stuff as well. And tt means going during Winter where they only sell winter products, which is kinda irrelevant to me.

Busy busy busy......!!!

Just came back from my CCA's main comm meeting and realised that I need to do up a presentation slides + sharing session for about half an hour next Wed, for those new freshies that will be attending the orientation camp next week.....

But it's like only 4 more days to do up the presentation!?!?!?! And then next Wed I'm also having my GN02 exam in the morning, straight after tt must give presentation liaoz... Arz!! It's definitely rushing for many of us, but luckily my upper-study has decided to help me out with the slides, so that I can concentrate on studying for my exam next week. Thanks so much!

And now..... back to mugging for the next 4 days!

Night at East Coast Carpark

Went out with 5 of my uni friends last night for prawning session, which turned out to be everyone's virgin experience except one. In my opinion, I really think that prawning is smth which I dont think I will ever want to do again with my friends next time. It's an utter waste of time. 6 guys, 2 rods, $15 per hr per rod. And the end result? We caught NOTHING. And seriously, our baits were being eaten up quite a few times throughout, so we have to constantly replace the bait using some chopped-up calm meat (the default bait that was given).... Or u can request for 'live' worms which none of us dare to touch except for one friend of mine, who actually said "Sorry" to the worm b4 hooking it up alive. Kinda gross, but apparantly it seems to have a greater effect than the former bait. Well, at least there was once we nearly hooked up a prawn, but it just flew up, nearly hitting the ceiling before dropping down to the pond again.

But luckily for me and 1 friend of mine, we were busy playing against each other on "Mario Kart", with our DS lite. No doubt that Mario Kart is one of the best games in DS lite/Wii.

And we drove to "Chomp Chomp" to have our dinner/supper there. Actually it's my first time there too, and I think it's quite worth it to go there as the food is quite nice and cheap. So the "exciting" part comes! Initially we have 2 cars, so split 3 person in each car. But since one of them need to go back early, the remaining 5 of us then squeezed into 1 car, while my friend returned the other car back his house.

So where did we go?

My friends said since it's past mid-night, and the night was still young, perhaps we should go East Coast Park to watch some "free show". Seriously, I was rather skecptical initially, because I was wondering we will be "lucky" enough to catch any couple "doing that" in their car. Nevertheless, since we were ultimately "boliao", we decided to try our luck. Okay, according to my friend, I think there are 2 carparks in East Coast that are mostly parked by big-sized lorries/vans. Hence, the easiest method is catch couple "doing that" is to spot any car that is suspiciously parked in between 2 big vehicles. Well, isn't that obvious? We went to the first car-park, and well, some people were well-prepared for "peeping toms" like us. Their car windows were either heavily frosted, OR they have some kind of black-tinted window such that you can't see through at all. Owellz, you must be thinking how "boliao" can we get.

So we went to the 2nd car-park, and this time we were in luck@! We caught this couple in a car that were parked in the middle of the carpark, between 2 big lorries. So my friend decided to park our car as slowly and quietly as possible at a strategic location, so that we can all have a "better view" of what's happening. We watched for a good 5 minutes, where the the couple take turns to "pound" on each other. Well, I admit that we could only see black figues against the streetlight background, but that was more than enough to figure out what's happening. Initially my friend suggested perhaps when the couple were about to reach their "optimal stage", we should just flash our high beam at them, followed by a loud honk, and then we shall make our escape. That will obviously give a rude shock to the couple, and I think that's really farked-up to do, so we think perhaps we should wait awhile more and decide wat to do later.

Hold and behold....... The driver suddenly switched on his car's engine, well, obviously his car's backlight was on as well. I'm wondering izzit because we were giggling SO LOUDLY that they heard us or what. Anyway, what happened next completely took us by surprise. The car decided to do a quick 3-point turn, and instead of the boot of the car facing us, the couple's car is now facing us, as if it's waiting to "confront" us. At that point of time, none of the cars have their front light turned on, so it was still too dark to see each other's faces. And suddenly that IDIOT decided to turn on their HIGH-BEAM at US! Like wtf!?!!?!!??! Obviously the 3 person sitting behind (including me), we were so "hum-ji" that we just bent down and hide our faces immediately. Anyway, it was so glaring that we were blinded momentarily. Pity my 2 friends in front who obviously have no place to duck their faces!

Isn't it obvious by now that they were trying play punk with us. So my friend instantly turned on our high-beam as well. No doubt it was glaring, but we still managed to catch a glimpse of the the young couple. First response from me was "The gal is demn ugly lar!" Nvm, that's not the main point. And the couple decided to advance their car abit, as if they want to block our way such that we will have difficuly getting of our current parking lot. My friend was extremely "dulan" that he just drove recklessly out of the carpark, make a turn round to the other side of the carpark, such that we are now behind their car again. My friend juz shine the high beam at them, as if to convey a message to them "If you want to play punk, we shall play with you!" Arz, at that point I was hoping things wont get out of control. Anyway, while tt couple was trying to reverse their car to come near us, my friend decided to make a quick exit to ECP... And ta-da, that's the end of our "adventure".

And seriously, I also don't know why should we be afraid of them. After all, they are the ones who are doing illegal stuff, not us. Arz, but nevertheless, thank goodness there wasn't any trouble.

Less than 2 weeks to Japan trip... But I'm not really prepared yet. Firstly, I haven't changed my money to JPY. And the fact that these few days JPY has been rising, rising and rising is not a very good news! Arz, can SGD appreciate or JPY depreciate these few days!?!?!? Secondly, I haven really planned my trip yet. I've not printed out the Tokyo maps which I need, e.g Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, Harajuku, Akihabara, etc etc. Thank goodness my hostel is just a 20 minutes walk to Asakusa, where there's a temple that's famous for fortune telling. And the fact that I can even lose my way in a Singapore shopping centre means that I'm really very BAD at navigating. Haiz, ever since young I always tend to rely on others to lead the way, and never bother remembering significant "places" that I have passed by. Okay, I think I better open my eyes BIG enough when I'm in Tokyo 2 weeks later. Oyaz, I want to go Yasukuni Shrine this time round! Previously I only managed to pass by the shrine while I was in the coach, becuz the shrine wasn't part of the itinery.

Currently I'm addicted to 2 PSP games, "Patapon" and "Loco Roco". 2 more weeks to exam and I'm still playing...*tsk*.. Actually I juz wanted to get some new PSP games for my Japan trip lar, in case I get bored, and ended up I started playing now. -_-''' Owellz, no worries, as I have quite a few other new PSP games on hand as a "back-up", in case I play finish some of the PSP games before I even go for my trip.

So I went to school on Tuesday for course registration. Owellz, I managed to get all my default modules, but I juz cant seem to get a class for the stupid AA202. Haiz, ended up "sacrificing" my AB214 in order to get another AA202 slot timing. I'm quite pleased with my time-table now. For AA201, AA203 and AC213, I can expect to see at least 8 familiar faces, so I guess forming project groups shouldn't be a problem. (And I mean doing projects with people who can WORK, so I can free-ride abit...=X) But I'm all alone for AA202 and AB214. Haiz, sianz... But no choice arz.

Okay, I shall start mugging next week onwards!!!!! As of now... Hmm... I shall slack abit first.
