And for once I felt abit "touched" by my branch. So on Tuesday it was just like any other day. Everyone was just busy doing their own work. Suddenly one guy turned off light (which I didn't know) and I was kinda pissed n shouted "Fuck man, black out liaoz", and before I know what's happening, my Chief was walking out from MY strong room (okay, it's called strong room but basically it's just a small room that has a thick metallic door to keep all the restriced/confidential/secret documents and that blardy room is basically my room), with a cake with lited candles on it. Initially I was looking around me cuz I thought it was someone's birthday but juz tt I didn't know. Then everyone in my branch just started gathering around me including my bosses and started singing a happy birthday song. Hahaz, I was just so darn touched cuz I did received a few sms-wishings from them on Sunday and I didn't really expect anything much from them either.
And of course, my Birthday wish is just so simple. Hopefully I won't get into any trouble/deep shit during my remaining days till I ORD>.
Okay. Just hope that from now till Chirstmas, I can live everyday peacefully.

Seriously, u all want to plan DUTY. FINE! I don care, but can't u all just learn from other units and at least plan in advance so that we all know exactly when we r doing duty?
Today is one of the RARE days I get to go out to despatch, and wtf, I received a call from my branch that this Sunday got guard duty then what put me reserve? I don even know what the FUCK is happening then suddenly just one call like that really spoils my day lar. I also can't be bothered to ask any further. I just said "okay" and hung up. I lazy to find out the details whether some fuckers volunteer my name or watz. But obviously I was just pissed to the max lar, if like that u think multi-tasking izzit? This weekend do duty clerk, then next weekend do guard duty or whatever. Wtf. Like that go burn all my weekends lar, mother fuckers.

BAD "OMEN"
Sometimes I DON'T KNOW is it just me or is it just my unit. Some want to go for operation, some want to downgrade, some say want to see counselling liaoz and even 3SG also say he want go see psychiatrist liaoz.
Sometimes I just wonder why ppl can survive through SISPEC or even OCS but they will all just die here.
So is it me or just everyone here?
When "MR TAN" left, everyone was like so HAPPY and it's like end of Occupation kind of feeling. And everyone was just hoping for a BETTER life thereafter.
And like just barely one month this "MR TAN" left come this Mother Fucker. (Nope, this mother fucker obviously not taking over "MR TAN's" position. He just got some more IKAN BILLIS on his arms there. Whatever.
Why must he like CONTROL us like WORST than recruits in BMT? Knn man!? Want to cut 4-2? HELLO!? U okay mahz? Even company line rifleman also never cut 4-2 then u now want all the CLERKs or STOREMANs or whatever to cut 4-2? U crazy arz? Even my S1 and Chief Clerk or Dys1 wants us cut like that, u wan us to cut like that>? U think u big fuck arz?
And obviously he doesn't seem to understand that HQ is a totally different game from Company Line. Frankly speaking, everyone knows that. U have to abide by the HQ style, and don't u like control us like some fuck recruits. And stop threatening us like "If anyone of you dare to defy me, it's equivalent to you knocking youself onto the wall. The wall will stay but you will fall."

Fuckers
Mother Fuckers, GO TO HELL MAN!!!
So pissed off with certain people. How selfish can they get? Just a few minutes before book out then suddenly say TOMORROW ON A SATURDAY need someone to do duty clerk.
WTF LAR!? Knn, ppl just abt to book out then say this kind of lanjiao thing. Nvm, as the person on duty on Saturday need to go outfield on Sunday morning and so cnt do. Fine. I don't really blame that guy. This kind of last minute thing need to find replacement is unavoidable. So CSM said have to find someone from S1 Branch to cover. FINE! (Note: He say ANYONE)
The MOST pissifying thing is that I don't understand why some people must say "Hmm... Then let's list down who are the people doing DUTY CLERKS then from there see who can do lorz" And at the end of the day there's only 3 people (including ME) available, then what the 3 of us must draw lots or wat BULLSHIT then either one of us must do.
COM'ON LAR!!! Let's look at it this way. Half the branch ppl do duty clerk, half the branch ppl do COS. And fucking hell, I don't understand why duty clerk on average must do ONE WEEKEND + ONE WEEKDAY a month, then COS only like do ONE WEEKDAY a month. This is so farking hell unfair lar. Ever since last year, the no. of ppl doing duty clerks and the no. of ppl doing COS is SO UNBALANCED lar. There are forever much LESSER ppl doing duty clerks compared to COS. And I don't understand why THOSE ppl doing COS cannot do duty clerk lar. It's not as if THEY last time NEVER do duty clerk before. And PLS LORZ<>
And second type of ppl (Actually it's just the SAME OLD people) are just so KNN lar. When they CANNOT finish their own work, they will talk to u NICELY and ask u HELP them. FINE!!!! I mean even though I got my OWN work, but I don't mind putting aside my stuff n help u all.
And this week my S1 wanted me to do some annual donno what thing which he gave me ONE WHOLE MONTH to do, as obviously this is smth that u cannot complete like what within a few days? And obviously when I look at it I know I will take like another 10 yrs to complete? Okay, fine, then my S1 sent an email say please get "XXX" and "XXXX" to help me with this cuz this thingyi will take quite some time. FINE!? I'm NOT the one asking u all to help me.
Well, I know everyone has their own work to do. Whatever. And pls, at least I got the courtesy to ASK whether you are busy with alot of work these few weeks or so, cuz I need them to help me do this thingyi. SERIOUSLY, deep down inside, I know exactly who is TRULY busy doing work and who is ACTUALLY everyday WASTING time clicking mouse and trying to ACT BUSY. Well, it's so farking obvious. I know everyone's job scope, for goodness. Then when I pop that question, SOMEONE can actually think for SO LONG then replied me "Hmm... Ya, actually I got this XXXX and that YYYY to do, quite busy".

Haiz. I just feel so feverish and SICK today. And yet I have DUTY tomorrow. Fuck. And worst is when I look at who are the other duty personnels doing duty with me on the same day, it's just so @#$%^&@#$%^& lar. All the i-dots man.
Feel so TEMPTED to change duty with my friend to do my duty tml so I do on some other sunday duty. But haiz, 4get abt it, don feel like making so much trouble. In 4 SIR, it's just so blardy hard to change duty especially since it's so last minute liaoz. I doubt anyone will also want to change. Whatever lar, I shall just SLEEP the whole day tml and don care if the DO or BOS is gonna fuck me for that. Anyway, it's not that they never fuck me upside down b4. Arrowing....
Yesterday I watched "Just follow Law" VCD by Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh in my branch computer together with my branch ppl, and I think it's really a funny yet realistic show abt how the government sector works lar. Being quite evil, we will "match-made" every character in the movie to "somebody" in my unit, based on their working style and stuff. Example, the "PO fessionalism" (from po lam pa a.k.a book lickers) we can almost instantly linked to "somebody" arz.
Initially when I started using issac card, I have always wondered why my superiors will constantly remind me to "CC" to whoever and whoever although the email has NOTHING to do with these group of people involved. I will think why can't I just send email to the relevant ppl under "To" and not need to CC to those irrelevant ppl. Now I know why.
"CC" is perceived as "Cover Cahceng" (cover backside) and BCC stands for "Better cover cahceng" (Better cover backside). If u don't CC to ppl, those ppl UP THERE will think that u r not working and will penalise u on that. Hence, now I learnt a VALUABLE lesson of "CC" emails to MANY MANY ppl that are seriously not relevant to the emails at all, and the sole purpose is just to tell the WHOLE world that YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING WORK. Gosh.
And another thing about emails is the "ARROWING" part. If u ever watch that show, then the part where lots of arrows just keep flying around whenever someone sends an email. For example, whenever there's a PROBLEM, the so-called "directors" of each BRANCH (**hint**hint**) will start sending email and pushing blame to the head of other BRANCHES (sounds familiar again) and then finally all these emails (ARROWS) will eventually end up in the BOSS's computer.... (Ahem, reminds me of the TERROR days in the past) and then finally the BOSS will "merge" all the small arrows into one BIG arrow and then FIRE off into a small fry in the company (that sounds like us) and eventually the employee just DIED due to the BIG arrow.
Oyaz, and there was one IMPORTANT LESSON that they teach, which is never to skip the chain of command, and if u ever break that rule, u will just die horribly lar. This is just so FARKING true lar. Always report to ur immediate superior, if cannot then report to ur next immediate superior and so forth, and I swear it's just suicidal if u skip that command as I've seen LIVE examples of how some ppl "died" w/o them knowing how they die. Haiz, I think maybe one GOOD thing about the Army is that it gives me how the "REAL WORLD" is like when I work outside next time in a few years down the road. Then some of the "scheming tactics" will come into play and have to learn how to play along the LOOPEHOLES of the RULES AND REGULATIONS.
I also donno why I'm talking abt this, but that show is like just so fantastic lar. Hahaz, really worth watching, And seriously, I doubt this only happens in the govt sector. I guess private sector also like that lar.

36 weeks or so, and I'm still counting down.
And I'm finally able to find a school that I can enrol into. Starting on 4th June, once a week on every Monday night. Alas, I feel that I'm not gonna waste any more time on @#$%^&* NS. And it is a 10 weeks course till I decide whether I want to continue anotz. Actually now I also broke lar, spent so much money on PSP liaoz, piangz.
And starting next week is ALERT RED which will end at around National Day that period. OMFG lar. Although this time I'm not taking part since I have taken part already the previous round (and it was an utter WASTE of time), it is still so sianz that have to do so much preparations. HaiZzzZz..... Okay lar, I have SLACKED too much ever since I come back from Taiwan, although Audit and preparations for Highnoon were like fuck, I think it's only fair that we can "rest" abit first before the start of another major event: Alert Red. Haiz, SIanzZzzz lar.
With my beloved PSP and Japanese class now, hopefully time can pass "abit" faster.

Although this time I'm not taking part since I have taken part already the previous round (and it was an utter WASTE of time), it is still so sianz that have to do so much preparations. HaiZzzZz..... Okay lar, I have SLACKED too much ever since I come back from Taiwan, although Audit and preparations for Highnoon were like fuck, I think it's only fair that we can "rest" abit first before the start of another major event: Alert Red. Finally I can type a proper entry after so many ERRORS trying to enter blogspot a couple of times back.
I know this is quite dumb. But I actually bought a ............................ *TA-DA* PSP on Wednesday.
Reason? Because Army is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SIANZ that u r so desperate to find "smth" to do and especially during Weekend duties whereby u swear u will be bored to tears if u didn't bring anything.
Whatever it is, I've bought it and is meant to last me for the remaining 263 days.
And next, yesterday I nearly FREAKED out while sitting my friend's car who just got his license and gosh, now I understand y Singapore got so many car accidents. And for the first time I drink I think spelled as "Tequila" or watever u call that, is like so @#$%^&*@#$%^& lar. Kns, is like sh*t man. But good thing of having drivers around is that they will end up giving u their drink coupons becuase they shouldn't be DRINKING while driving. Erm... But then again, haiz, sometimes it's just so demn blardy scary when "young" ppl drive.
And for my Japanese Language class, due to my laziness and mainly my horrendous language ability, I've decided to downgrade to take JLPT4 instead of JLPT3 end of this yr, with me starting my JLPT3 class in Jan 2008 bahz. And seriously, I also don have much motivation to study much lar. Kns, with my PSP now, I also won't have much time lar. But then I think so far I only covered maybe 70% of my JLPT4 syllabus, so in the end now still must study abit more. At least I have like SIX MONTHS to take my own sweet time to study.
Haiz. I getting really really really SIANZ of Army liaoz. Just hope the remaining 9 months can pass like "amazingly" FAST and faster ORD...................... zZzZzZzzz

Booking of Tests...
So today I went to book 2 tests!
First is my upcoming Bunka Intermediate 2 placement test this coming Wednesday. Wellz, 30 minutes written test and 15 min Oral test. Wtf, I've a feeling I'm gonna flunk it. Whatever lar hor, today n tml juz mug n mug then Wednesday juz vomit everything out. Bleahz.
And next is I went down to CDC to book my Basic Theory Test on 9th July(Monday). Haiz, still a long way to go. I think by the time I can take my driving practical test is already Mid 2008 lar. Haiz, sianz. But nvm lar, before uni starts can get my driving license can liaoz.
Haiz, now I juz feel short of cash lar. Piangz... so many courses to attend...
So now I juz wish that I won't be speaking alien language to the examiner on Wed.... And hopefully no glaring grammatical mistakes as well....

Continue with "Ni-hon-go"
So ever since I came back on Tuesday, I've been immersing myself in TEXTBOOKS. O yes, elementary Japanese textbooks. Sometimes I feel that I'm just so retarded when comes to language, and I always assume that all I need to do is to "memorise" everything and that's it. Bleahz, how wrong can that be!? I can't even get SIMPLE basic grammar facts right, like that how to proceed onto higher levels?
And staying at home to study will only end up me using the comp most of the time. -_-''' Hence, perhaps it's time I start going Airport or Library and blend into the crowd of students mugging intensively for theirs exams.
And whatever is the case, now my aim is by Mid-June I will finish up to lesson25 of "Minna No Nihongo" book and then I will start enrolling for lesson liaoz. If not I think I sure donno what the hell I'm learning. So for this upcoming 6 to 7 weeks, it'll be INTENSIVE mugging until I can master till lesson25 before I can "proudly" apply for evaluation test of Bunka Intermediate 2 course. Muwhahahaz. Hope by then I won't screw things up.

Life Sucks
I've been coughing non-stop ever since I come back Singapore. Vomitted a few times. But I just can't be bothered to see a doctor. Haiz.
I just feel so weak and sick lar. Haiz. But I believe that is not the main problem. I just feel lousy deep in within. Life's such a struggle living a lifestyle which u just hate so much. Frankly speaking, I do admit I'm a loner in my unit. There just isn't someone in my unit whom I can confide my problems in. And the thought of having to interact and see some people EVERYDAY just makes me feel sick. Life is just so miserable when u realised u have to keep everything to urself and not let it out loud. Deep inside, I just feel lonely and miserable and farked up lar.

Yes, on the very last day S1 called for an unusual Branch meeting and want us to settle our disputes. I know I sure do act cold and problematic to u people. Pls don't assume that just beacuse I say "Sir, my problem has nothing to do witht the branch. The problems lie in me" will mean that YOU people are innocent? **PUKE**!! I just don't wish to make things miserable for both parties. And yes, when u people want to talk bad abt ppl, pls don assume that other ppl r asleep already. When u wan to talk bad abt ppl in the toilet, pls check that the person is not in the cubicle. Sometimes perhaps I just want to thank you people on letting me know how u ppl think of me. Thanks arz.
You all really think I enjoy working with u all meh? PLS LAR. I'm only trying to make my remaining 10 months in 4SIR less misrable lar. Minus one month of clearing leave and off, left 9 months. If this is not ARMY I swear I sure blow my top off onto u ppl lar. Yes, Army really test my patience and limits to the maximum. You people, whom I used to call "f-r-i-e-n-d-s" are just a bunch of LOSERs in my eyes now. Yes, I look down and despise all of you. The sight of you people just irks me and make my blood boil. I will just treat you people as INVISIBLE men for the next 9 months or so. Seriously, I don't know how on earth next time I'm gonna tolerate staying in the office the WHOLE day working with you people.
Don't worry. I would just pretend nth has happened and continue to "work" with you ppl. Take it as a good training for me when I go n work in the corporate world in the near future. Thank you S1 branch for such an opportunity to stretch my limits to the max.

All right, today marks my 18th day in Taiwan. I still have 11 days more before I go back Singapore. Now i'm at my camp's cookhouse using some shitty computer that allow me to use Internet for 15min at NT10 (S$0.50). Piangz, I think I spent too much money already. Where on earth got people like spend about to S$100 just on "Ninja van" food 1!?
Wah kaoz, I think I've been eating way TOO MUCH that I'm suspecting I've gained like 5kg compared to before I left for Taiwan. The food from the Ninja van are demn nice lar. Large, crispy "Zha Ji Pa", "Tian Bu La", "Jian Bing" and alot more. No wonder some ppl say we don't lose weight when we come to Taiwan.
And finally I've done all that I need to do for the R&R. Hotel allocation, Bus allocation, meal table seating allocation and plane seating allocation. Phew, finally me and my friend finished them all. Now just tahan 7 more days before off we got to KaoShiung for our R&R!!!
But then again, I think temperature can be freezing out there at night, with the temp dropping as low as 12 deg cel, according to the officers. That's like HELLO!?... It's demn blardy cold when the wind blows lar. Okay lar, although the temp cannot be compared to that in Japan winter, but it's still quite inbearable especially when u only wear your no.4 uniform. Bleahz. At least it's better than the hot weather in SIngapore.
And surprisingly, I don't feel home-sick as what I've expected initially before I came. Indeed, time flies over here as you are kept busy doing all the sai-kang. Although feelings of sianzness may come especially during weekends when u will be thinking "what the fark I'm doing here". I think I will miss the training in Taiwan. At least it's 100000000000000000 times better than back in Singapore. Going back Singapore just makes me feel "SIANZ" lar. How I wish for an overseas posting to Taiwan. But fark, I'm already a second yr soldier and I think the chance is demn low arz. Nvm, perhaps I will try to appeal for a min. 6 months posting to Taiwan if possible. But haiz, thinking how FARK my unit is at retaining people from posting out is just so @#$TY#$%^ lar. What to do... Suck thumb and tahan for another 10 more months bahz.

Not that all these are impossible in Singapore. But I've never thought of establishing my career in Singapore.
I want to be able to comprehend Japanese songs without looking at their romanji-translated lyrics. I want to be able to watch Japanese movie without having to look at the Eng/Chi subtitles. I want to be able to speak to Japanese people without speaking half-fucked Japanese, such that they don't understand. I want to read Japanese newspaper without any difficulty. I can easily tune in to Japanese FM and able to comprehend every word they say. When I switch on my TV, I can easily understand what the show is talking about.
Simply, I want to speak and use Japanese in my everyday life.
I hope this desire, this dream, this passion will keep me going... At least till I ORD in 11 months time.

BoBo all the WAY!
I'm such a SUPER BOBO shooter lar. Piangz, don't what to say. I think my eyes really got problems. Initially I got 5/16 for my day shoot.
YAZ! NoT EvEN ONE THIRD OF THE SCORE LORZ. I THINK I MUST GO FOR SOME EYE SURGERY SOON LORZ.
Wah kaoz, even my dys1 say I think I should just forgo my night shot, like quite hard to pass lorz.
I was thinking likewise also.
Then came night shot. I got 10/12. WAHAHAZ, so in total I got 15/28, and so I passed! Okay lar, I think I have day blindness, but not night blindness. (Actually, because I asked my left and right shooters to SHOOT my lane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Whatever lar, can pass can liaoz. I know I really SUCKED at shooting.

It took us like 3 weeks to SEARCH and PASTE like close to 2000 photos (each person 4 photos) and NOW you want us to RE-DO EVERYTHING within 3 days!?
FUCK YOU!!!
I spend so much time and effort in doing this stupid thingyi, making me stay back whereby the rest of the battalion all went back home early. Then during CNY I still make the effort to bring back the photos to sort them out?

And today somebody keep mentioning "if you ever say that to me, then I'm gonna give u 2 FARKING TIGHT SLAPS......"

I thought I can took off on Monday and so that I can go for my med appt. in peace on Tuesday. But thanks to you ppl that make my life so miserable.
