Good bye Chief

Today I went for my chief's funeral wake which was held at Kallang, followed by the burial ceremony at the Muslim Cemetery in Lim Chu Kang (amazingly close to my camp)

Up to now, I really can't accept the fact that she just passed away like that... According to those who r still in branch, she was still working on Fri and then on Fri night itself, this unfortunate thing had to take place. Nobody could believe things just had to happen this way, she was really a well-liked warrent officer by many people, especially those who had worked under her. I could still remember the days when she always joked with us, then outside of camps treat us to meals sometimes, and most importantly is that she treats everyone very well!! Sometimes gossiping with us how some XXX officer is so sucks, or how she kana arrow the work from S1, and blah blah... She was really a forgiving person, I remembered that my old CO used to hammer her alot, in the sense of giving her alot of troubles by keep scolding her. Although she was very pissed off, she said that she won't hold any hatred becuz she believes that there's no point in having a grudge for that. And she believed God is watching over everything that is happening.

Those fond memories with her juz instantly came flashing back when I saw her body at the wake just now. It seems as if these happy events juz happened ystd and are so fresh in my mind now. The most memorable day is when she invited us to her house during Hari Raya and cooked all the nice nice food for us.. Seriously, she's more like an elder sister to all of us!!

I couldn't control my emotions at the burial ceremony juz now when they were saying the last prayer for her and were about to cover her body with the last bit of sand. Everyone just felt so emotional at that point of time.

The last time I saw her her was during my ORD day when I got back my pink IC. After I ORD, I was still chatting with my friends in MSN that one day must go back 4SIR to find her and give her a surprise visit! And she was even telling us camp very sianz, next time meet outside better... HAIZ, and I really can't understand why things have to turn out this way in seeing her for one last time.
Those who have worked with you will remember the wonderful memories you have brought to us. I just hope that Chief has left this world peacefully with no regrets, and that her family will remain strong in the remaining days to come...
